The platform features a modern, user‑friendly interface that improves navigation, boosts productivity, and streamlines time‑critical workflows

The PCS rollout is progressing successfully, with the first phase completed through a carefully managed, location‑by‑location deployment, with the initial terminals now fully operational. CNS is preparing the next phase, expanding the PCS to additional key terminals, including DP World Southampton and DP World London Gateway.

Future‑ready by design, the PCS is positioned to support future integration with essential operational and management systems. It streamlines cargo workflows and leverages cloud‑native architecture to adapt to evolving business, commercial, and compliance requirements.

Matthew Bradley, Managing Director at CNS, said: “Compass has been an industry-standard solution since 2010, trusted by the ports and logistics community for more than a decade. The transition to the new PCS system takes everything our customers value about Compass and enhances it for the digital era. Our investment in the CARGOES platform will help ensure we’re ready to meet the regulatory and operational challenges of tomorrow and keep trade flowing for our customers.”

James Roth, Chairman and CEO, Seacon Group, said: “Working with CNS during the pilot phase of the new Port Community System has been seamless. The new CNS PCS platform has already demonstrated significant improvements in speed, reliability, and visibility across our export operations. Its intuitive design and integration flexibility make day-to-day processes more efficient and reduce manual intervention. We’re excited to see how this innovation will continue to enhance collaboration across the wider port community.”

Since its introduction in 2010, CNS’ Compass system has been central to trade logistics at UK and European ports, improving communication, visibility, and efficiency for shipping lines, freight forwarders, terminal operators, and customs brokers. The phased migration from the legacy Compass system to the new CNS PCS will ensure continuity of service for these mission-critical operations.

–ENDS–

About CNS

PIONEERING DIGITAL INNOVATION
EMPOWERING TRADE

Community Network Services (CNS), a DP World Digital Trade Solutions business, has been a leading force serving the needs of Port Community & Logistics businesses for nearly four decades.

Since our founding in 1986, we have led the way with cutting-edge computerised systems, continuously introducing industry-first solutions that streamline trade processes for our clients.

CNS’s success is built on enabling seamless trade operations, enhancing efficiency, and ensuring our customers meet regulatory compliance with unmatched expertise and stellar customer service.

Our UK Customs (HMRC)-approved Port Community and Customs Management Systems facilitate efficient import, export, and transhipment management, while our commitment to staying ahead of evolving regulations ensures all solutions meet current and future requirements.

Backed by DP World’s extensive resources, we combine this global perspective with in-depth know-how and understanding of customs and logistics to deliver solutions tailored to our customers’ commercial, operational, and regulatory needs.

This unique blend of experience and expertise allows us to empower the Port & logistics ecosystem to thrive in today’s dynamic world trade landscape.

Visit: https://www.cnsonline.co.uk/

Follow CNS on:
LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/cns-community-network-services

About DP World
DP World is reshaping the future of global trade to improve lives everywhere.
